Too Hot For Gardening

I had intended to go out and deadhead some blossoms on the geranium plants and the petunias but after being outside for only a few short moments I thought better of that idea. Talk about HOT! It's supposed to be 103 today and it feels like every degree of that and then some. I'll make sure to give an extra douse of water to the plants tonight because they'll need it to try to survive these very hot temps. Meanwhile, instead of broiling out under that hot sun, I've decided to come inside where it's nice and cool and have a cold drink and maybe write a little blog.....
